Our Approach to Private Jet Sustainability
Through 4AIR, clients have the option to offset their carbon emissions for every hour flown. In an era where environmental consciousness is no longer a choice but a necessity, we recognise how critical it is to play our part.
Since 2021, we have actively engaged with 4AIR, a global leader in comprehensive sustainability programmes and verifications tailored to the unique needs of aviation.

Calibrate Your Commitment to Your Requirements
FXAIR and 4AIR provide various options to take your sustainability efforts beyond basic carbon offsets. For a small additional hourly cost, you can opt up and take advantage of 4AIR's higher sustainability ratings.

The first step in approaching long-term sustainability involves neutralizing carbon dioxide (CO2) output. By offsetting 100 percent of the carbon emissions generated by your aircraft using verified carbon credits, you are offsetting damaging airborne pollutants.

Carbon dioxide (CO2) represents less than half of the climate-impacting emissions generated by the average private aircraft. Go beyond carbon neutral to account for non-CO2-based warming pollutants by offsetting total emissions by 300 percent.

While offsetting is a vital part of the solution, emissions reductions accelerate the type of change necessary to meet the industry's 2050 goals. Through innovations like Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), we can drastically cut emissions by replacing the source of their creation.

To achieve true net-zero emissions in air travel, major breakthroughs still need to be developed. By contributing to the Aviation Climate Fund, you are directly supporting the creation of technologies aimed at eliminating aircraft emissions.
Projects Supported
All carbon credits and reduction contributions made as part of FXAIR’s sustainability programme are verified through the most respected and international leading bodies that issue and register credits, such as the Verified Carbon Registry (VERRA), Climate Action Reserve and Gold Standard.
Here are two examples of the projects we support:

The Adani Group
The Adani Group is a CORSIA-approved solar renewable energy project, based in the Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Rajasthan states of India. In total, the project generates enough solar energy to displace more than 1.5 million megawatt hours (MWh) of electricity in India annually, reducing the carbon impact of a country in which about 80 percent of electricity is generated through fossil fuels. In addition, the project spurs economic development, provides job opportunities and expands economic activity in the regions.

The Banscol Highlands Forestry Project
The Banscol Highlands forestry project, which is verified by the Woodland Carbon Code, is designed to link fragmented ancient, semi-natural woodland along the banks of Scotland's River Brora with a new, diverse native planting. It will predominantly look to create an upland oakwood habitat, with elements of native pine, wet woodland and upland birchwood. The improved grassland will be planted with a productive silver birch stand, taking advantage of the local shelter, accessibility and fertility of the fields to sustainably produce fuelwood for local use.
In addition to capturing CO2, UK woodland also delivers other local and tangible benefits for biodiversity, landscape, flood management, water quality and recreation. This project will provide many benefits, including for local wildlife and flood mitigation.
